Dive In

This morning began at 5 a.m. 5 A.M.!!! Why 5 a.m. you ask? Because, as I pointed out yesterday, my goal this summer is to find ways for us to beat the heat without beating up each other.

Summer, Summer, Summer Time…

Hello all!  It’s been a minute…or a few months...is this thing on?? I got the bill for my website address this week, and it got me to thinking that I haven’t written anything in ages and what is the point of paying for a website address with a blog if you never blog?  I then... Continue Reading →

Eat, Read, Listen and be Merry

Hey all!  It’s been a while since I shared some things that I’m loving right now.  On tap today – a couple recipes, a couple books, and a couple podcasts that are making me happy right now. But before we start – today is the first day of spring – and I had to wear... Continue Reading →

So this is Christmas…

I have debated writing a blog this December because I am in full on compartmentalization mode. I have a special skill of which you may not be aware – I am a TERRIFIC avoider.  I mean if they gave out gold medals in the Olympics (either summer or winter) for the sport of avoidance –... Trauma in the Timbers

When I was a little girl, we lived in a suburb of  San Diego, California. The particular suburb where we lived had once been wide open prairie land, which had been developed into subdivisions and strip malls about 10 years before we moved in. The thing about prairie land, as with all undeveloped places, things... Continue Reading →
